Dear Family and Friends of St. Paul’s,

It is hard to believe that tomorrow will be August 1st. I am grateful for all of our school leaders who are working so hard to get our 2020-2021 school year started which is slated to begin on Wednesday, August 19th. I am thankful for the leadership of Fr. James, Kathleen Guy, the Board of Trustees, Erin Rogers and Parents and Friends,  and our teachers and staff. All are working together to ensure that the 2020-2021 school year begins in as safe of an environment as possible. Even though this year will look different, we want our children to have a memorable experience where they can continue to grow and learn.

I have reached almost all of our families. I still have a few that I have not been able to speak to you yet. If you have not received a call concerning the start of the year, I will call you on Monday. I have enjoyed speaking with so many of you and hearing about your joys and your concerns. It is important to know that your voice is heard.

You may access the SPES Campus Safety Guidelines via this link. I hope you will take time to read them. Do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have.

These days I often turn to this scripture, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." Philippians 4:6.

I know we are all anxious, but I find comfort in knowing that our God is walking with us. Have a wonderful weekend.

Blessings,

M’Lissa Howen, M.Ed.
