Chapel & Christian Ed

Chapel is an integral part of the student experience for every student nurturing character, grace, community fellowship and spiritual wellness. Every elementary student participates in Chapel services weekly as a dedicated time in the school schedule for proclamation, celebration, solace and reflection of God’s goodness and unconditional love, and every person as a unique and special being created by God.

Chapel services are always open to students, families, and members of the Saint Paul’s community.  Our 1st-6th Grade students attend chapel in the Nave of Saint Paul's Episcopal Church on Monday and Wednesday mornings of each week.  Additionally, chapel is held in Parish Hall on Friday mornings as well for our PreK-6th Grade students under the direction of the School's music director, Ms. Disheroon.

Our Christian Education classes are led by the School's Chaplain, Ms. Lisa St. Romain.  Christian Ed classes employ the use of Godly Play curriculum, which increasingly develops along with each grade level.  The Godly Play approach helps students to explore their faith through story, to gain religious language and to enhance their spiritual experience though wonder and play.
